  • Elf Louise Christmas Gift Program – Elf Louise accepts gifts year-round, so please feel free to drop your gifts off.

  • Battered Women Shelter of San Antonio – We welcome donations of clothing for women and children, as well as all other personal care products.

  • Humane Society of San Antonio – We welcome donations of towels, bedding, blankets, dog and cat beds, as well as dry and canned food, brushes and anything else a pet may need – especially a new home!

  • Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation – Wildlife Rescue cares for and rehabilitates wild animals of Texas, including mammals, birds and reptiles, and virtually anything else that can be helped.  We welcome donations of towels, bedding, blankets, dog and cat beds, as well as dry and canned food, brushes and anything else animals may need.

Becker Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is very interested in supporting the people and pets of San Antonio. We do so through participation as a donation drop off point for the Elf Louise Christmas Gift program, the Battered Women Shelter, The Humane Society of San Antonio and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation as well as various other charitable causes.

Community Service Events – Vaccinations

We are also working out in the community to help improve the health of pets.  Starting in 2012, Becker Animal Hospital began a series of free rabies and distemper vaccinations for residents of San Antonio’s South Side.

Dr. Michael Becker and other Becker Animal Hospital staffers provide free vaccinations at an April event in the parking lot of the Super Wal-Mart at SE Military and Roosevelt.

 

Making Your Visit Comfortable

We want to make your visit to our hospital as comfortable as possible. We know that there can be wait times involved, so we offer our clients complementary 12oz water bottles, as well as a snack machine that offers snacks at our cost, which results in the lowest possible price! Kids love it and we hope you do to.
