‘I cannot put into words how much gratitude I have …’

The first time I took a pet to the hospital, it was an emergency on a Thanksgiving weekend. I had my 18 year old cat, Buffy, who had multiple health problems. He had started having seizures at home. I had been to one veterinarian who would not even look at him. By the time I walked in the doors at the Becker Hospital, he was pretty much gone. One of the technicians approached me, took a look at Buffy and took him to the back immediately. Shortly thereafter, I was called into the back and one of the vets who confirmed what I already knew and we came to the conclusion the best thing for my pet was to let him go. I was allowed to spend some time with him before I left the clinic. Everyone was so kind, I decided that any of my other pets would be seen there.

I had found Buffy as a kitten less than 2 weeks old on Medical Drive. He and his sister kitten were actually on the street and almost got hit in front of me. I did the whole mother thing with both of them – bottle feeding, litter training, etc. Needless to say, they were very special to me. I cannot put into words how much gratitude I have toward your staff because of the way they treated Buffy and I.
