21 Aug Moscow Environmental Office on Alert for ‘Zombie Pigeons’
With a story that sounds like it came straight out of a pitch session for a George A. Romero/Alfred Hitchcock movie hybrid, The Guardian is reporting that the Moscow environmental prosecutor’s office is investigating what some people are referring to as ‘zombie pigeons.’
These pigeons are said to have been seen stumbling and flying about recklessly and aimlessly before falling to the ground unable to get back up, giving them the appearance of zombies.
Local experts have so far been unable to come up with the concrete reason for such behavior from the birds.
Here’s to hoping that there isn’t a sequel based out of the United States!
