BAH visits with Summer Youth Program at Passmore Elementary

Children from the Passmore Elementary School summer program view a model of a dog’s heart during Ronee’ Ross’s presentation.

Becker Pet Resort Director Ronee Ross  visited Passmore Elementary School on July 31,  to talk with students about pet care and their animal’s health, as part of Beck Animal Hospital’s Community Outreach program.

Laurie Recio, the Summer Youth Program site supervisor wrote the following thank-you note:

I would like to thank you, and the Becker Animal Hospital for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit our Summer Youth Program here at Passmore Elementary. We enjoyed your presentation, and all the great information you provided us with. The children certainly learned the importance of caring for their pets and the packets and coupons you left us well certainly be of great help. Unfortunately we are not allowed field trips so I look to the kindness of organizations like your selves to provided our participants with your services. As you know we are run by the City Of San Antonio Parks and Recreation. We provided Our Participants with a full day of curriculum based activities such as science, Arts and Crafts, Nutrition, and physical fitness. We so enjoyed your presentation and hope to see you again next year.
