
Ellie, a donkey in the area of a massive wildfire in Fort Collins, Colorado, is getting praised for saving another donkey and three horses from the blaze, after the evacuation of the couple that was boarding the animals.
Residents of Paradise Park were ordered to flee the town on Saturday, including Mike and Sharon Guli, who operate an equine boarding center. Ellie, known as a take-charge animal, kept the other animals safe and calm during the ordeal, and is credited with saving the animals.
