23 May BAH Helps Girl Scout Troop 816 Learn About Animals, Earn Brady’s Badge
On April 26th, 2012, Girl Scout Troop 816 visited the Becker Animal Hospital & Pet Resort for a guided tour, pet care lesson, and Q&A provided by Pet Resort manager Ronee Ross. Ronee and the rest of the Becker Animal Hospital & Pet Resort staff were pleased to host such a fine group of scouts from the San Antonio community, and were very happy to see how enthusiastic they were to learn!
During the visit, the scouts were educated on the importance of quality pet care and timely vaccinations, as well as the dangers of various diseases that dogs and cats could contract. The scouts were then given a thorough tour of the facility, including a stop to see all the adorable pets in the pet boarding resort!
Scout leader Erica Gadin had this to say about the visit:“Our visit to the Becker Animal Hospital couldn’t have been any better. At the following Girl Scout meeting, the troop was eager to share what they liked best and how much they enjoyed the tour. They loved the animals the best because it was obvious how healthy, happy, and well taken care of the dogs and cats were. Thank you Ronee and Becker Animal Hospital!”
As always, Becker Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is happy to help support the local San Antonio community and to encourage the proper treatment and care of pets and animals. On behalf of Dr. Becker, Ronee, and the rest of the staff, we would like to offer our congratulations to Girl Scout Troop 816 beginning their quest to earn the Brady’s Badge Patch, an animal education badge awarded by the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas!
